PROJECT: DESIGN 3 PROJECT
OBJECTIVE: CREATE SOMETHING THAT EMBODIES YOUR DESIGN MANIFESTO
EXECUTION TIME: 1 WEEK
For my design manifesto, I created a collection of handmade embroidered socks centralized around the 16 personalities. Mine being ENFJ, I did research on main characteristics and tendencies of the ENFJ personality. I chose 4 that I personally related with most:
too sensitive / too talkative / overly optimistic / passionate
I then proceeded to draft designs that represented each. With my finalized designs, I began prototyping; searching for the perfect classic crew sock, refining my choice of thread, and considering all packaging options.
In addition to the physical product, branding was also key. Creating the perfect photograph and translating that into a simple but eye-catching graphic was the cherry on top. Through several iterations and one too many pricks to the finger, I finally present the end product, sixteen socks.
